The Red Willow County Sheriff's Office took a Burglary report which alleges between Sunday August 3rd and Wednesday August 13th, 2014, person or persons broke and entered real estate property in Southwestern Red Willow County. Taken were Firearms, Chainsaws, Hand Tools, Go-Lights, and miscellaneous fishing and hunting gear. The victim suffered a loss that exceeds $9,000.00 as a result of this crime.
The Red Willow County Sheriff's Office took a complaint which alleges theft of items from a Quonset in rural Indianola. Taken during this burglary were welding equipment, air compressor, fans, and several tools. The Red Willow County Sheriff's Office is investigating a theft report on. Between Friday April 26th and Monday April 29th, 2014, person or persons removed a green military type tool box containing several hand tools, wrenches and ratchets, a pneumatic grease gun, and a Husqvarna chainsaw from a location on the north end of Indianola Nebraska. All the property is that of Red Willow County. Total loss as a result of this theft is estimated at over $3,000.00.
The Red Willow County Sheriff's Office is investigating a criminal mischief report. During the late evening hours of Wednesday January 22nd, or early morning hours of Thursday January 23rd, 2014, person or persons caused damage to 2 parked vehicles located in the 200 block of North 3rd Street in Indianola, Nebraska. Total loss the owners suffered as a result of this crime is estimated at over $6,000.00
The McCook Police Department is investigating a report of Criminal Mischief which occurred on or about December 30th, 2013. A business located in the 400 block of West 5th Street had its window damaged by a BB or similar type of projectile. It is estimated that it will cost hundreds of dollars to repair. Additionally, several other reports of Criminal Damage to property due to suspected use of a BB/pellet gun throughout town. As a result, hundreds of dollars in damage has been done to victims' property. During the early morning hours of September 30th, 2013 unknown persons forcibly and unlawfully entered the Frenchman Valley Co-Op building located at 102 North Dean Street in Palisade, Nebraska Preliminary reports indicate the burglary suspects stole approximately $100.00 in currency from the office.
During the late evening hours of Sunday October 6th, or early morning hours of Monday October 7th, 2013, person or persons broke and entered the Decatur Coop Exchange in Danbury, Nebraska. Items taken during the burglary was limited to cash. Total Loss as a result of this crime is estimated at $500.00
During the early morning hours of Monday September 16th, 2013, person or persons forcibly and unlawfully entered the Farmer's Co-Op Grain and Supply building located in Stratton Nebraska. Preliminary reports indicate that the burglary suspects stole approximately $100.00 of currency from this office.

Sometime between August 9th and August 14th, 2013, person or persons broke and entered a Quonset and vacant house in Rural Red Willow County. Taken during this burglary were power hand tools, table saw, band saw, and a firearm. Total loss as a result of this crime is estimated at over $2,000.00.
On file with the Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office is a burglary report. During the early morning hours of Sunday June 16th, 2013, unknown individuals forcibly and unlawfully entered a storage unit located in Trenton Nebraska. Preliminary reports indicate that the burglary suspects stole over $2,000.00 worth of shop equipment, tools, and sporting equipment.
On file with the Red Willow County Sheriff's Office is a Theft and Criminal Mischief report. During the late evening hours of Saturday May 11th, or early morning hours of Sunday May 12th, 2013, person or persons took a joy ride in a tractor belonging to the Red Willow County Roads Department. During this same set of events, it is believed the same person or person's unlawfully operated two additional tractors from farms in rural Indianola. There were significant damage done to the county roads as well as tractors during this criminal mischief and theft crime.
