The Hitchcock County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a theft that took place at 37598 South River Drive, Culbertson, NE. on the late night of August 1^st or early morning of August 2^nd ,2007. Suspects stole a two wheeled D.R. Pro Field & Brush electric start self-propelled walking lawn mower. The mower is powered by a Kawasaki 15 horse motor, has four forward and one reverse speeds, a 28 inch width, and is valued at over $2,800.

The Crime of the Week is a burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. Tim Brown reported that a suspect or suspects forcibly entered his home located at 1510 West 10th Street in McCook on the morning between the 6^th and 9^th of September. Suspects removed two gallon jars containing several hundred dollars in coins. I

The Crime of the Week is a burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. Russell Doyle reported suspects entered his residence at 303 South 9^th Street on September 2^nd or 3^rd , 2007. A gallon jug and a peanut butter jar containing approximately one thousand dollars were stolen from the home.

Phillip Lyons reported that suspects threw a bottle through the window of his 1992 Buick while it was parked at 1007 East 1^st Street on the early morning of September 9^th , 2007. Damages to the vehicle amounted to several hundred dollars.

The Crime of the Week is a burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. Robbie Arp reported a suspect forcibly entered his garage located at 704 East 4^th Street in McCook during the early morning of September 2^nd , 2007. A cell phone was stolen in the burglary

Sometime between the late evening hours of August 1st , 2007, and the early morning hours of August 2nd, 2007. Suspect(s) stole a two wheeled "D.R." Pro Field and Brush electric start self-propelled mower. The mower is powered by a Kawasaki 15 HP V-Twin motor, has a single blade 26 inching width, and has four forward and one reverse speeds. It is valued at over $2800.00.

The Crime of the Week is a criminal report on file with the McCook Police Department. Lori Stull reported that suspects threw a cement block through the window of her 1998 Buick while it was parked at 1204 East 1^st Street on the early morning of July 15, 2007. Damages to the vehicle amounted to several hundred dollars.

The Crime of the Week is a criminal mischief report on file with the McCook Police Department. The City of McCook reported the destruction of a toilet in the women’s’ bathroom in Norris Park on June 28, 2007. Losses as a result of this crime amounted to several hundred dollars.

The Crime of the Week is a burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. Cory Weeth reported a suspect forcibly entered his mobile home located at lot 24 at 1604 West 4^th Street in McCook during the week of June 25, 2007. Items of clothing and CD’s were stolen in the burglary.

Sometime on Monday night, May 7th, 2007, person or persons stole a "Road Closed" Sign from the intersection of RD 372 and RD 715. On Wednesday night, May 9th, 200, two more "Road Closed" Signs were stolen, one from the intersection of Hwy 17 and RD 714, and the other from the intersection of RD 713 and RD 378. The signs are white on the front side with black lettering and the backs of the signs are brown in color. The signs were placed at these locations by road employees after heavy rains in the area washed out the county roads.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Burglary Report on file with the McCook Police Department. Some time between March 16 and March 17, 2007 person or persons illegally entered the Stinnett Building at 805 West C Streets. Two softball pitching machines were stolen from the building.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief Report on file with the McCook Police Department. Some time between March 21 and March 22, 2007 person or persons damaged a 2004 Lexus LS430 and broke a side window while the vehicle was parked at 404 Prairie Ridge.

Some time between March 17 and March 19, 2007 person or persons cut approximately five to six feet of a sprinkler system located at 1301 West K Street, in the alley behind that address. The cuts appeared to be done by a sharp object.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief Report on file with the McCook Police Department. On April 13, 2007 between the hours of 3:30 to 9:45 person or persons damaged the back window of a Dodge Neon at 1007 East 2nd Street.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the timeframe of March 16 to March 18, 2007, person or persons broke a sliding glass window at 2111 Blake Drive in McCook.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the night of November 5, to the morning of November 12, 2006, person or persons unlawfully entered a vehicle that was parked at Bieker’s Body and Collision. Stereo equipment was stolen. The loss is estimated at approximately $400.00.

This Crime of the Week Report is a theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. In the late hours of October 1, 2006 to the early morning hours of October 2, 2006 person or persons illegally entered a vehicle parked in the 300 block of East 6^th Street. Stereo equipment was stolen. The loss is estimated at $3,100.

This Crime of the Week Report is a burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. In the late hours of November 24, 2006 to the early hours of November 25, 2006 person or persons illegally entered the Kildare Lumber and Home Improvement lot. A pop machine was opened and the contents of the money catchers were stolen. The loss is estimated at $500.00.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the timeframe of December 23, 2006 through December 24, 2006, person or persons illegally entered the Southwest Area Training Center main building. The estimated loss was $800.00.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the Hitchcock County Sheriff’s Office. On January 5, 2007 to the early morning hours of January 8, 2007 person or persons stole three Motorola UHF radios from Hitchcock County school vans. The vans were parked on the Stratton bus parking lot located at 509 Bristol Street in Stratton, Nebraska.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the timeframe of the evening hours of February 2, 2007 to the early morning hours of February 3, 2007 person or persons illegally entered Billy’s Auto Service at 1805 West O Street. Tools were stolen.

1) Theft - Indianola. Stolen from Voltz work vehicle while parked in Indianola at employees address, Freon recovery machine and torch kit. Value $1,000.00. Items were in an unlocked compartment in bed of truck. Items taken approximately 12-08-06. Chain saw was taken from neighbor on same day. Value 175.00 on chain saw.

2) On or about October 31, 2006, the Gerald Maris Construction Company had a Target self propelled concrete saw roll out the back of their trailer on U.S. Highway 34 near the Swanson Dam turn off located appx. 3 miles west of Trenton, Nebraska. At appx. 12:50 p.m., on October 31^st, 2006, witnesses observed individuals loading this machine into a light or neutral colored small pickup and leaving the scene.

3) Sometime between the evening hours of January 5^th, 2007, and the early morning hours of January 8^th, 2007, persons unknown stole three Motorola UHF high ban radios from Hitchcock County school vans that were parked on the Stratton bus parking lot located on 509 Bristol Street in Stratton, Nebraska.

During the timeframe of September 18^th, 2006 through September 19^th, 2006, person or persons damaged the front window at the Methodist Helping Hand Thrift Store, located in the 100 block of West C Street. Damage was estimated at $245.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the timeframe of September 19^th, 2006 through September 20^th, 2006, person or persons stole a black Craftsman lawn cart from the 1500 block of Norris Avenue. Loss was estimated at $200.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the timeframe of September 4^th, 2006 through September 5^th, 2006, person or persons damaged the plastic sign located in front of Oz-Tex, located at 801 West C Street. Damage was estimated at $400.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the early morning hours of August 15^th, 2006, person or persons illegally entered the Bottle Shop located at 309 East B Street. Once inside, they stole over $400 worth of merchandise.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. Sometime during the daylight hours on July 12^th, 2006, person or persons stole a green Calgary gas-powered motorcycle, located in the 800 block of West 2^nd Street. Loss was estimated at $200.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the early morning hours of July 9^th, 2006, person or persons cut down and removed the banner from a business located in the 400 block of West 3^rd Street. Loss was estimated over $50.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the early morning hrs of July 5^th, 2006, person or persons stole several items from a pickup parked in the 100 block of West O Street. Loss was estimated at $100.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the early morning hours of July 3^rd, 2006, person or persons vandalized the seats in a boat located in the 300 block of East 2^nd Street. Seats were estimated at over $100.

The Crime of the Week is a criminal mischief report on file with the McCook Police Department. Frenchman Valley Coop reported that a suspect or suspects forcibly entered a door of the business located at 102 East 3^rd Street in McCook on the morning of April 23^rd, 2006. Once inside, the suspects searched office areas, but nothing was reported stolen. There was several hundred dollars in damages to the building.

The Crime of the Week is a theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. Paul Gonzales reported that suspects removed an 8’ aluminum john boat from the lot at 100 West 7^th Street between April 15^th and May 2^nd 2006. The boat was green outside and blue inside and was valued at $800.

The Crime of the Week is a criminal mischief report on file with the McCook Police Department. Damage to a door and window was reported at the dentistry office located at 411 West 5^th Street on the morning of April 4, 2006. Losses as a result of this crime amounted to several hundred dollars.

The Crime of the Week is a criminal mischief report on file with the Red Willow County Sheriff’s Department. County road signs located on roads North of McCook have been damaged by gun fire in several recent incidents. Total losses as a result of this crime amounted to more than one thousand dollars.

The Crime of the Week is an Arson report on file with the Hitchcock County Sheriff’s Department. Person or persons set fires at the Bear Cave Restaurant and the Quarter Moon Bar located in Culbertson, Nebraska during the early morning of April 30^th, 2006. The businesses sustained tens of thousands of dollars in damages as a result of these crimes.

The Crime of the Week is a burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. Lloyd Shields reported that a suspect or suspects forcibly entered the front door of his residence located at 1202 West 12^th Street in McCook on the morning of March 11, 2006. Once inside, the suspects ransacked the home and stole a safe, a collection of 75 hunting and pocket knives, two ruby rings, a pearl ring, a collection of 50 Zippo lighters, 20 Mother’s Day plates, a Minolta and a Yashica 35mm cameras, and other items valued at several thousand dollars.

The Crime of the Week is a theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. Brett Robuck reported that a suspect or suspects removed tools from the tack room of his barn located at 1602 East1st Street. Among the stolen items are a Milwaukee sawzall, Pneumatic nail gun, a Dewalt framing saw, and a Dewalt ½ inch drill. Losses as a result of this crime amounted to several hundred dollars.

The Crime of the Week is a theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. Brett Schmidt reported that suspects removed a door from the loading dock at 308 Airport Road between January 9^th and 17^thof 2006. The standard right-hand door was peach colored with an oval shaped opening for a door glass and was valued at $650.00.

The Crime of the Week is a burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. The Spirit Shoppe located at 503 West B. Street in McCook reported that a suspect broke the door glass and entered the business on the late night of January 1, 2006. Once inside the business the suspect, or suspects, removed a case of beer and a carton of Marlboro cigarettes. Total losses as a result of this crime amounted to several hundred dollars.

The Crime of the Week is a burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. The Orschleins store located at 1602 North Highway 83 in McCook reported that persons forcibly entered the business on the early morning of January 25^th, 2006. Suspects attempted to force open a safe and damaged the wall of the business.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the Hitchcock County Sheriff’s Office. During the timeframe of November 25^th, 2005 through November 26^th 2005, person or persons stole a Barrett Stock trailer containing 30 head of black, red and white steers and bulls from Garner Livestock in Trenton. Loss was estimated at $42,000.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the Hitchcock County Sheriff’s Office. On July 8^th, 2005, someone stole truck tires and rims from a vehicle located at Trails West in Trenton. Loss was estimated at $4200.

During the evening hours of September 3^rd, 2005 through the early morning hours of September 4^th,2005 person or persons stole several lawn ornaments from a residence located in the 1400 block of West J Street. Loss was estimated at $280.

During the evening hours of October 8^th, 2005 through the early morning hours of October 9^th, 2005, person or persons broke out all the windows on the phone booth located at West 1^st and D Streets. Damage was estimated over $1000.

Through the months of June and July 2005, several flowers and ornaments have been stolen from headstones at the Riverview and Memorial Cemetaries. Stolen from the business was a Detroit Diesel Engine Diagnostic System worth $1800, along with semi truck parts worth $1000.

During timeframe of May 1^st , 2005 through May 7^th, 2005 person or persons stole a Dewalt AM/FM radio with 18 volt battery charger from a garage in the 400 block of West R Street. Loss was estimated at $200.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. During timeframe of May 4^th, 2005 through May 5^th, 2005 person or persons stole a black canvas golf bag from the back of a pickup parked in the WalMart parking lot. Inside the bag were a full set of golf clubs and a dozen golf balls. Loss was estimated at $540. (6-26-05)

The Sheriff’s Office has received several complaints of refrigerators and other appliances being thrown into the ditches in rural Red Willow County. The County is seeking your help in stopping this activity.(6-19-05)

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. On 05/05/05 a purse and a Canon Powershot A400 Digital Camera were stolen from a vehicle located in the vicinity of McCook Senior High School. The purse and personal belongings were later recovered, but the camera is still missing. Loss was estimated over $200.

During the evening hours of May 31^st, 2005 and the early morning hours of June 1^st, 2005, person or persons stole center caps from a vehicle located in the 200 block of East 1^st Street. Loss was estimated over $300.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the Red Willow County Sheriff's Office. During the late evening hours of September 21st, 2003, person or persons vandalized a historical marker located in Marion, NE. Damage was estimated at $2000.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the Red Willow County Sheriff's Office. During the late evening hours of August 29th, 2003, person or persons illegally entered the Danbury COOP and stole a Pop Machine. Total loss was estimated over $1500.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief/Theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the last few weeks several vehicles have been vandalized and items from them stolen in the City of McCook. Total loss was estimated at several thousand dollars.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the late evening hours of December 13th, 2003, through the early morning hours of December 14th, 2003, person or persons vandalized approximately 15 vehicles throughout the City of McCook. Total loss was estimated at $2500.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the Red Willow County Sheriff's Office. During the late evening hours of October 13th, 2003, through the early morning hours of October 14th, 2003, person or persons vandalized several mailboxes in the rural McCook area. Damage was estimated at $300.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the Hitchcock County Sheriff’s Office. During the early morning hours of January 16^th, 2004, through the early morning hours of January 17^th, 2004, person or persons vandalized a 1983 John Deere 300B Backhoe Loader, as it sat in the Trenton Cemetery. Total damage was estimated at $2100.

The McCook Area Crime Stoppers Board of Directors is offering a $500 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the person or persons who vandalized a 1983 John Deere 300B backhoe/loader owned by Leon Wright, while it was parked overnight at the Trenton Cemetery on January 16^th 2004. The piece of equipment was shot with a high-powered rifle and damage was listed at $2100.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the early morning hours of December 19, 2003, person or persons illegally entered a garage in the 800 block of West 12^th Street and stole several items. Total loss was estimated at $250.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the early morning hours of January 3rd, 2003, person or persons damaged a 1991 Ford Taurus which was parked in the 200 block of West E Street. The vehicle was damaged by a brick thrown through the rear window and slashing the tires. Loss was estimated at $800.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the Red Willow County Sheriff’s Office. During the early morning hours of January 22^nd, 2004, person or persons broke a window of Lords Hardware, located on Main Street and Hi-way 6 & 34 in Indianola.

During the timeframe of January 20^th 2004, through the early morning hours of January 25^th, 2004, person or persons illegally entered a home in the 1600 block of West 2^nd Street. It is unknown at this time the number of items taken.

This Crime of the Week report consists of an Attempted Burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the early morning hours of January 20^th, 2004, person or persons illegally entered a home in the 1500 block of West 2^nd Street. Those persons then immediately exited the residence upon finding the inhabitants at home.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the timeframe of December 29^th, 2003, through January 2^nd, 2004, person or persons stole a windsock owned by McCook Aviation by climbing on top of one of the buildings. Loss was estimated over $500.

During the timeframe of February 13th, 2004, through February 19th, 2004 person or persons illegally entered a residence in the 1000 block of West 12th Street and stole a television set, a DVD Player, misc. jewelry items and cash. Total estimated loss was in excess of $1000.

During the timeframe of March 4^th, 2004, through March 7^th, 2004 person or persons illegally entered a residence in Indianola and removed several items of value, including firearms. Total estimated loss was in excess of $2500. (Running for two weeks).

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the late afternoon hours of April 18th 2004, person or persons illegally entered a storage building on Airport Road.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the Red Willow County Sheriff’s Office. Several road signs within Red Willow County have been shot at and damaged. Red Willow County is offering rewards for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of suspects that are involved.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the Red Willow County Sheriff’s Office. During the timeframe of March 5^th, 2004, through March 9^th, 2004 person or persons illegally shot and caused damage to a Pivot Irrigation Control Panel box belonging to a Red Willow County resident. This incident occurred south of Republican Valley High School on a county road. Total estimated loss was valued at $1900.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the Red Willow County Sheriff’s Office During the evening hours of March 10^th,2004, thru the early hours of March 11^th, 2004 person or persons entered property located just west of the Red Willow Animal Clinic and vandalized property belonging to different owners. The property was recently purchased during an auction. Total estimated loss was valued at $1,500.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the late evening hours of May 6th, 2004, through the early morning hours of May 10th, 2004 person or persons illegally entered a vehicle while it was parked either in the Westview Plaza parking lot or the 800 block of East 5th Street. While inside the vehicle they stole a racing helmet. The helmet was in a black satchel bag, was white in color with the words "G-Force" inscribed on the back. The helmet was a model SA 2000 with a visor. Total estimated loss was in excess of $360.

During the late evening hours of May 2nd, 2004, person or persons damaged a mail box with a large firework in the area of West 1st Street and Marsh Ave. Total estimated loss was in excess of $25.

During the evening hours of April 15^th 2004, through the early hours of April 18^th 2004, person or persons stole several tools from Orschelns on North Hi-Way 83. Total estimated loss was valued over $500.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the late evening hours of March 27^th 2004, through the early morning hours of March 28^th 2004, person or persons damaged over 20 vehicles while they were parked in the Junior and Senior High School Parking lots. Total estimated loss was in excess of $3000.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Burglary report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the late evening hours of June 6th, 2004, through the early morning hours of June 7th, 2004, person or persons illegally entered Overtime Nightclub, located on north Highway 83. Damage was estimated at $2000 and $500 in cash was stolen.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the late evening hours of June 5th, 2004, through the early morning hours of June 6th, 2004, person or persons illegally damaged a patrol van owned by the Nebraska State Patrol as it was parked in the 100 block of East G Street. Total estimated loss was in excess of $500.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Theft report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the late evening hours of June 7th, 2004, person or persons stole a blue Ford 1700 tractor with 7700 front end loader and yellow 5 foot roto tiller on back. Tractor was parked in the 600 block of West B Street. Total estimated loss was in excess of $1000.

During the late evening hours of July 17^th, 2004, through the early morning hours of June 18^th, 2004 person or persons illegally damaged a pickup on the north side of Wal-Mart parking lot. Both cab windows and the windshield had been smashed. Total loss was in excess of $500.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Homicide report on file with the McCook Police Department. During the early morning hours of July 18th, 2004, the body of David Moreau was found in the vicinity of 402 Missouri Avenue Circle #1. It was determined that Mr. Moreau had died from a force blunt trauma to the head.

This Crime of the Week report consists of a Criminal Mischief report on file with the Red Willow County Sheriff's Office. During the timeframe of June 11-13, 2004, person or persons caused damage to the Republican Valley High School. Total loss sustained by this mischievous activity was estimated at $200.

During the late evening hours of July 18^th through the early morning hours of July 19^th 2004, person or persons caused damage to a radiator on a pivot irrigation system near Indianola, Nebraska. Damage was estimated in excess of $100.00.

During the early morning hours of July 25^th, 2004, person or persons intentionally opened valves on two Anhydrous Ammonia tanks owned by Frenchman Valley Farmer’s Co-op, causing over 1100 gallons to be released into the air. The incident not only caused risk to public health and safety, but also cost Frenchman over $1200 in property loss.

On the evening of July15th and July 20th 2004, person or persons illegally place stolen City of McCook road barricades on North Highway 83 south of McCook by Barnett Park. In one instance, the barricade was painted black on one side to conceal it from drivers. We advise citizens to please be careful when driving and watch for these barricades.

That building contains Michaelis Chiropractic, Wine Law Office and other private offices. Total damage and theft estimates are pending.

During the timeframe of July 18^th, 2004 and August 8^th, 2004, person or persons illegally entered property owned by Wilcox Well Drilling in rural McCook, and stole a Sump Pump. Loss was estimated at $800.00.

During the late evening hours of August 6^th, 2004 through the early morning hours of August 7^th, 2004, person or persons illegally entered The Boot Shop and Four Seasons Beauty Salon, located at 105 West 1^st Street. Total damage and theft estimates are pending.

During the timeframe of July 4^th, 2004 through July 10^th, 2004 person or persons broke the front door of a gas station in Lebanon, Nebraska. Individuals then entered the station and removed antique gas pumps and other items of value. Estimated loss is yet to be determined.

During the late evening hours of September 18^{th, through} the early morning hours of September 19^th, 2004 person or persons damaged the glass door at Big Red’s Sports Bar in Indianola. During the evening hours of September 2^nd, 2004 through the early morning hours of September 3^rd, 2004, person or persons illegally entered a vehicle in the Sports Nightclub parking lot and stole several pieces of firefighting bunker gear. Loss was estimated at $1645.

During the early morning hours of September 24^th, 2004, a young male entered the West Gas-n-Shop and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. Individual fled the store with approximately $150 in cash.

During the late evening hours of October 1^st, 2004 person or persons removed a toolbox from a pickup while it was parked at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds in McCook. Total estimated loss was estimated over $400.

During the late evening hours of September 24^th, through the early morning hours of September 25^th, 2004, person or persons intentionally damaged the McCook Community College transport bus as it was parked in the Swimming Pool parking lot. Damage was done to the driver and passenger’s side windows. Use of a small explosive device is suspected. The same type of incident occurred to the same bus on October 18^th, 2004.

Sometime between August 25^th and October 2^nd, 2004 person or persons damaged property and entered the Danbury School. Once inside the school, further vandalism was conducted.

During the evening hours of September 30^th , 2004 person or persons stole a 16-foot Besler flatbed trailer from a business located in the 600 block of East A Street. Trailer is red with white wheels. Loss was estimated over $1000.

During the evening hours of September 12^th , 2004 person or persons stole a Austin guitar, guitar tuner and guitar pick holder from a vehicle as it was parked in the Pizza Hut parking lot. Loss was estimated at $879.

During the weekend of December 4^th, 2004, persons or persons cut Christmas lights belonging to a resident in rural McCook. Although dollar amount of damage is low, several related incidents have been reported in the McCook area, making the total estimated loss to homeowners much higher.

During the late evening hours of February 22^nd, 2005, person or persons damaged all four tires on a vehicle as it was parked in the 1200 block of West 13^th Street. At approximately midnight on April 5^th, 2005, a two-vehicle accident occurred in the intersection of West 1^st and B Streets in McCook. A newer black or dark colored full size Ford pickup with extended cab collided with another vehicle, then fled the scene. Damage to the other vehicle involved was estimated at $2000.
